Cruzing Chicagoland: Chicago Elevated

One of the many things I’ve been working on recently is a video series in conjunction with the great folks (and cars!) at General Motors. GM is my major sponsor for my book launch event in a couple of weeks, and, well, check this out. (P.S. The guitar intro and ending is courtesy of my son, J.)

Okay, now THIS is fun! The guitar intro/end was a great touch (talented kids you got there) and I also love that Margaret was wearing a Brooklyn t-shirt. HAH!

Hey! So cute! Melisa, you did the best job ever.

Wait y’all until I go to Brooklyn with an awesome Chicago shirt, it’s going to blow you all away!

You’ve heard Oprah is quitting right? I think you should fill that one hour void left by her.

J did an awesome job on the music. Margaret is a hoot. I would totally want to take one of her tours.

    Nice video! And guitar intro/exit!

I didn’t notice Margaret was wearing a Brooklyn tshirt, just that it was sunny and she was wearing a shortsleeve shirt. Obviously, we need some warm weather around here!

I LOVE LOVE the video! Margaret seems great! I love the Brooklyn t-shirt touch 😉

Is this where you saw the B52s last year? great place for an outdoor concert!

How cool! Thank you so much for sharing all of this- I consider Chicago “my city” that I love but I am learning all kinds of new things!
